What is my approach?

First and foremost, I make sure a safe, non-judgmental environment is created in order for you to feel accepted, listened to, understood, appreciated, respected, valued and worthy.

I was trained and practise as an integrative psychotherapist. Integrative therapy combines different therapeutic tools and approaches from various therapies, such as psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person centred, Behavioural, Gestalt. etc. This helps to deliver a unique and effective form of treatment that is suitable for individual needs.

I also draw on the principles of mindfulness as I am a great believer in living in the here and now. I am also trained as a Hypnotherapist and in Applied EFT, ( Tapping).

Over the years, I have helped clients overcome difficulties such as:

  • Stress & Anxiety (in private or professional life)

  • Procrastination

  • Depression

  • Bereavement

  • Self-harming, Suicidal thoughts

  • Building self-esteem

  • Abuse: physical, emotional, sexual

  • Childhood trauma

  • Relationship issues

  • Dealing with debilitating illnesses

  • Life transitions & changes

  • Those effected by cancer

  • Spiritual issues

  • Motivational issues

  • Fear of Public speaking

  • Unblocking creative potential

How long does Therapy last?

Each person is a unique individual and will re-act differently to personal therapy. Therefore the length of therapy will depend on the individual and their presenting issue.

Breaking through defence mechanisms and developing the tools to think and operate differently is a process with ups and downs. Positive change is a process that ebbs and flows. But it is well worth it and rewards are boundless.

"Undesirable thoughts and behaviour don’t happen overnight.

They are created and cultivated over time.

the same goes for change".
